Construction Monitoring Day 2023

Baumonitoring Day 2023 took place for the fourth time on November 20th and 21st. This annual dialogue meeting offers financiers, developers, and monitors the opportunity to openly discuss the status, trends, and future of construction monitoring. Participants engaged in intensive discussions on the current market situation to collaboratively develop solutions.

This year's event, held at the idyllic Gut Ising on Lake Chiemsee, featured high-profile keynotes and in-depth discussions, professionally moderated by Albert Michael Geiger, CEO of Alphazirkel. Daniel Föst of the FDP parliamentary group provided political insights into the construction industry, while Christina Müller from KPMG offered an overview of the European transaction market.

The conference also highlighted digital transformations. Various experts delivered presentations on topics such as cost certainty with AI, risk mitigation, and digital construction monitoring. Professor Schmieder shared inspiring and practical insights from Silicon Valley. PropTech experts provided specific insights into the challenges of digitalization within the real estate sector.

Leading banks, including Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, UniCredit, DZ Hyp, and Münchner Hyp, were represented, offering insights into the current status of construction monitoring, ESG, and regulatory frameworks.
