mantro invests in PROBIS – securing additional market share through strategic partnership

Probis is a cloud-based multi-project controlling software. With the support of Mantro, it is to be further developed into a platform with individual solutions to address the specific needs of various user groups more effectively, explains Moritz Koppe, Managing Director of Probis. Solutions are planned for all relevant construction cost controlling processes. The tools are used by Building Owners, banks, project developers, and project managers, among others, for cost tracking, fund utilization control, and reporting. "Through this investment, we will continue to grow steadily and provide customers with additional features," Koppe promises. This includes an advanced tool for project developments, enabling real estate projects to be calculated cloud-based using proprietary benchmarks or a cost database. Koppe had already announced this last year in an interview with Immobilien Zeitung (cf. "The Probis toolbox will soon be able to calculate project developments"). The tool's implementation is scheduled for mid-year. "Furthermore, we are working on direct EBICS/SEPA transfers from Probis with our Fintech product Finance, and an ESG tool that allows ESG parameters to be managed and evaluated," Koppe reports.

"We believe that the digitalization of the real estate industry has only just begun. As part of our buy-and-build strategy, our approach involves leveraging our expertise and market understanding to elevate promising companies to the next level," explains Manfred Tropper, founder and CEO of Mantro. The company will actively participate as a shareholder to establish Probis as the market's standard solution for construction cost controlling. In connection with the transaction, Jannis Roser was appointed as a Board Member of Probis. Roser brings twelve years of venture capital and restructuring experience, having guided several companies from inception to exit.

Established in Berlin in 2014 as Emproc SYS, the company, rebranded as Probis Software GmbH at the start of the year, now reports approximately 100 completed controlling projects annually. Its distinguished client portfolio includes Signa, Cushman & Wakefield, Fraport, and Deutsche Pfandbriefbank.
