PROBIS starts distribution in Portugal with ESSENTIA

The project manager based in Lisbon takes over the consulting and sales of the cost controlling software PROBIS in Portugal.

emproc SYS enters the Portuguese market with partner ESSENTIA

(PresseBox)(Starnberg, 27.05.2021) The internationally active PropTech company emproc SYS, based in Starnberg, is expanding its commitment in Europe. After the in-house multi-project controlling software PROBIS was used, among other things, in the refurbishment and revitalisation of several residential and commercial properties in the city centre of Lisbon, sales are now being launched throughout Portugal. emproc SYS is supported by its Portuguese partner ESSENTIA. Founded in 1996 and based in Lisbon, ESSENTIA offers consultancy services in the fields of urban regeneration and niche real estate, sustainable hotels and tourism, as well as area development and cultural and leisure networks, and is very well networked in the Portuguese real estate industry.

José Gil Duarte, founder and CEO of ESSENTIA, says: "The Portuguese real estate market has proven to be particularly resilient in 2020 and 2021. A projected increase in new construction properties in 2021 will stabilise price levels despite foreseeable restrictions due to the Corona pandemic. In order to meet this growing demand, it is important to leverage digitalisation potential and thus be as sparing as possible with the resources of time and money. We are therefore very pleased to have found a partner in emproc SYS and their PROBIS software that not only has experience in the Portuguese market, but also an excellent track record in digitisation in Germany and Austria."

"Portugal is an exciting and sustainable market for companies in the real estate industry. Over the last ten years, a real boom in project development has been observed here and even in the Corona year 2020, prices have continued to rise. Even if market experts assume that growth will decline at least in 2021 - some forecasts even speak of minimal price declines - the developments in the pan-European market are very moderate. In order to gain a further foothold with our multi-project controlling software PROBIS in this hitherto fast-growing market and to strengthen the commitment we have started, we have established our own location for consulting and sales with this strong partner," says Moritz Koppe, Managing Director of emproc SYS.

PROBIS offers data in real time. Through a cloud-based database, all project participants always have the current project statuses available. For the various user groups, e.g. builders, project developers, project controllers or financiers and banks, the PROBIS software is adapted to individual needs. The controlling software also facilitates the documentation of cost development/cost history. PROBIS has so far been used in Portugal, among other things, for the revitalisation of residential properties in Lisbon's city centre with a total area of around 100,000 square metres.

PROBIS

The PROBIS controlling software for builders, banks, project developers and project controllers allows cost security and cost control at an early stage of the project and guarantees a resilient starting situation for project cost control, risk management and budget planning.
