The Regionaltangente West will consist of two lines that converge in the core area. The first line connects Bad Homburg with Neu-Isenburg Birkengewann, the second line runs from Frankfurt-Praunheim/Gewerbegebiet and Bad Soden to Dreieich-Buchschlag. On the latter connection, the train is split at the Dunantsiedlung stop so that one part runs to Praunheim and the other to Bad Soden.
