HWP New Construction of the Rhine Ordnance Barracks Medical Center (ROB MCR), Weilerbach

PROBIS 2010 through 2021; construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

Scope:
985,000 sq ft (approx. 120,000 m² gross floor area) with nine operating rooms, 120 examination rooms, and 68 beds—the largest U.S. military hospital outside the United States, built to replace the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.

As a subcontractor to HWP, PROBIS provided quantity surveying and cost control services across all areas during the early project phase. PROBIS prepared cost estimates, established the budget and baseline, and provided benchmarking and cost reporting. On the client side, the program is managed by the USACE Europe District in Wiesbaden and the LBB Rhineland-Palatinate.
