Leipzig Club and Cultural Foundation relies on PROBIS Expert for "Gleisdreieck" redevelopment project in Leipzig

Leipzig, 25 March 2021: The "Leipziger Club- und Kulturstiftung" foundation, established in summer 2019, is using emproc's cloud-based multi-project controlling softwarePROBIS Expert in the "Gleisdreieck" project. The innovative construction monitoring tool for precise cost controlling is being used in the ambitious conversion project of the former "Deutsche Reichsbahn maintenance plant". On a gross floor area of 6,000 square metres, affordable studios, rehearsal rooms, a concert and event hall as well as workshops for cultural workers from the region are to be built on the former company grounds. Emproc SYS is also advising the project.

The conversion of the "Gleisdreieck" is the first project of the Club and Cultural Foundation, which has set itself the task of promoting music, art and culture in Leipzig and the surrounding area. The site has been permanently withdrawn from the real estate market and is to be developed into an incubator that unites culture, business and society. On a total area of around 12,000 square metres, a centre for creativity is being created here that will also be visible beyond Leipzig.

With the ecologically sustainable renovation of the building's exterior and the long-term utilisation concept, the project fits perfectly into the integrated urban development concept Leipzig 2030 (INSEK). In 2023, the two clubs "TV-Club" and "Distillery", which were saved by the initiative "Leipziger Club-und Kulturstiftung" (Leipzig Club and Cultural Foundation) and which will find new premises in the Gleisdreieck, are to move. The overall completion of the project is planned for 2026.
