Berlin/Munich, 15 March 2022: mantro, a leading company builder from Munich, has joined PROBIS, the developer of cloud-based multi-project controlling software, as a strategic investor. In the future, resources and expertise from the PropTech and FinTech branches will be pooled in order to further develop the PROBIS software and gain additional market share. The focus will be on the development of an integrated solution ecosystem for all relevant processes of construction cost controlling. Accordingly, the software will continue to develop into a platform with individual solutions that are even more closely tailored to the needs of the various user groups than before. In addition, both companies want to use their respective networks and contacts for mutual benefit. The synergy effects of the established multi-project controlling companyPROBIS, with a strong track record in major real estate projects, and the innovative company accelerator mantro hold great potential for the real estate industry.

In the course of the transaction, PROBIS was able to recruit Jannis Roser as a board member. Jannis has twelve years of venture capital and restructuring experience. During this time, he has supported several companies from start-up to exit. Over the past 20 years, PROBIS software has been used to manage more than 1,000 real estate projects with a total volume of more than 400 billion euros. Currently, 250 different real estate projects are controlled in the cloud solution of the cost management software. In addition to the SIGNA Group, which is currently implementingPROBIS, Cushman & Wakefield, Fraport AG and Deutsche Pfandbriefbank (pbb), among others, are also using the software to track costs, control the use of funds and for reporting.
