Berlin/Munich, March 15, 2022: mantro, a leading company builder based in Munich, is investing in PROBIS, the developer of cloud-based multi-project controlling software, as a strategic investor. In the future, resources and expertise from the PropTech and FinTech sectors will be pooled to further develop the PROBIS software and gain additional market share. One key focus will be on establishing an integrated solution ecosystem for all relevant construction cost controlling processes. Accordingly, the software will evolve into a platform offering individual solutions, even more precisely tailored to the needs of various user groups. Additionally, both companies aim to leverage their respective networks and contacts for mutual benefit. The synergistic effects of PROBIS, an established multi-project controlling company with a strong track record in major real estate projects, and mantro, an innovative company accelerator, hold significant potential for the real estate industry.

In the course of the transaction, PROBIS successfully appointed Jannis Roser as a Board Member. Jannis brings twelve years of venture capital and restructuring experience, having guided several companies from their inception to successful exit. Over the past 20 years, PROBIS software has been instrumental in managing more than 1,000 real estate projects, totaling over 400 billion Euros. Currently, 250 diverse real estate projects are being monitored within the cloud-based cost management software solution. In addition to the SIGNA Group, which is currently implementing PROBIS, other prominent users include Cushman & Wakefield, Fraport AG, and Deutsche Pfandbriefbank (pbb), who utilize the software for cost tracking, monitoring of fund utilization, and reporting.
