Fraport AG is now implementing Terminal 3/South Expansion with the new PROBIS software

• New construction of Terminal 3 and other major construction projects at Frankfurt Airport

Frankfurt/Starnberg, June 22, 2020: The cloud-based project management software PROBIS is being deployed for the South Expansion at Frankfurt Airport. PROBIS was already introduced in 2017 as a central and mandatory cost controlling system for all project stakeholders. The transition to its successor software, PROBIS Expert, is now underway.

The South expansion includes, in addition to the new construction of Terminal 3, the connection to the two existing terminals via a people mover system. The construction measures also encompass the entire development and establishment of the necessary new infrastructure. With the project controlling software PROBIS Expert, over 40 users manage 45,000 budget elements, 1,000 award units, and 2,500 contracts for this construction project. The current actual statuses of the various sub-projects are displayed in a clear dashboard. All project participants have access to real-time data.

Users also gain additional options for documenting cost development/cost history through the transition to PROBIS Expert.

PROBIS Expert software facilitates agile project controlling. It allows for the bespoke management and reliable oversight of digital processes within complex real estate projects using its multi-project controlling capabilities.

PROBIS Expert enables project developers to compare the actual current values of a real estate project with any indicative forecast values. All relevant data can be displayed in a single dashboard, allowing for an immediate overview of the project status.
