Frankfurt/Starnberg, 22 June 2020: The cloud-based project management software PROBIS is being used for the South Expansion at Frankfurt Airport. PROBIS was introduced in 2017 as a central cost controlling system that is binding for all project participants and is now being converted to the successor software PROBIS Expert.
In addition to the new construction of Terminal 3, the South Extension includes the connection to the two existing terminals by means of a personnel transport system. The project controlling software PROBIS Expert is used by more than 40 users to control 45,000 budget elements, 1,000 award units and 2,500 orders for both construction projects. The current status of the various sub-projects is displayed in a clear dashboard. All project participants have access to the data in real time.

In July 2020, the changeover to the successor software will take place, which offers additional possibilities, especially with regard to rights management, multi-project-capable funding requirement and outflow planning as well as a dashboard as a modular system. The changeover to PROBIS Expert also opens up additional possibilities for the documentation of cost development/cost history.
PROBIS Expert offers planning security
The PROBIS Expert software enables flexible project controlling. Digital processes of complex real estate projects can be individually controlled and reliably monitored with the multi-project controlling software.
PROBIS Expert allows project developers to compare the actual current values of a real estate project with any indicative forecast values. All relevant data can be displayed in a dashboard. This makes it possible to see the status of the project at a glance.
